 ***SAFETY ALERT***

9 VOLT BATTERY DANGER -  CAN SPARK FIRES

Thanks to Larry Durheim, a concerned District 5 citizen, we were notified of the possible dangers of incorrect storage and disposal of your 9 Volt batteries.  It  appears  that if the positive and negative leads of the batteries come in contact with other metals or each other, there is a possibility of a spark that may lead to a fire.  For safety, dispose of all old batteries properly and store your 9 volt batteries with a strip of black electricians tape covering both leads.
