Become a Volunteer Firefighter or FF/ EMT
The process to be a volunteer firefighter is simple. Download a copy of an application or call the District Office 509-796-4793 and leave a message. The district administrator will contact you with information and mail you an application. Once you clear the interview and your medical exam you may be eligible for service. All volunteer firefighters are eligible for the volunteer pension. We also pay your class fee should you also want to be trained as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
